Krista L. Cosgrove, CFA

Krista Cosgrove joined ZWJ Investment Counsel in 2007 as a Portfolio Manager. Previously, she worked for fifteen years as a Portfolio Manager in the Personal Asset Management Department at SunTrust Banks in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to working in portfolio management, she was a research analyst for the Economist’s Office at SunTrust and in marketing for a futures management firm in Nashville, Tennessee.

Mrs. Cosgrove earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Elon University in North Carolina, and then earned a master’s degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina.

As a Chartered Financial Analyst, Mrs. Cosgrove is a member of the CFA Society of Atlanta and the CFA Institute. She was once an instructor in portfolio management for prospective charterholders.

She is married to Jim and together they have two sons, Tommy and Clay. She is active in the Development Committee at their school, Christ the King. Additionally, she is a member of a ladies’ church circle and book club and enjoys fundraising for the Susan B. Komen Foundation as well as Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
